SIR GEORGE HAYTER (1792-1871) 'MRS STEWART', two pencil portrait sketches of the mother of Leonard Stewart, one initialled lower left with title, the second is initialled, titled and dated 1838 with a further indistinct description, initials and dated 1849, pencil heightened with white, smallest size approximately 18cm x 18cm, largest approximately 21cm x 24cm, Condition Report: the smaller picture is glued to the bottom picture, both pictures have creases and small tears, together with, CIRCLE OF JOHN LINNELL (1792-1882) STUDIES OF A MALE FIGURE, there are two full length drawings, a head and shoulders and arm on one side of the paper with a single male figure verso, unsigned chalk on paper, approximate size 21cm x 29cm, Condition Report: sticky tape to the top edge, crease to the bottom edge (PROVENANCE: The Arnold Fellows Collection)
