Sandra BLOW (1925-2006) Collage, 1997 Mixed media collage, signed, inscribed and dated 1997 to verso, 14.5 x 21cm, 39.5 x 45.5cm framed. Label to verso - 'In January 1997 Bob Deveraux of the Salthouse Gallery St. Ives suffered a stroke. In March, Martin Val Baker and Antony Frost devisted a unique fund raising sale of art work. Artists acquainted with Bob were each sent a piece of A5 card on which to produce a work to be sold at the Rainyday Gallery on the 31st March '97. The work was to be signed on the back and sold artist unknown for £30 each. The sale raised over £3000. Bob is slowly recovering'.
