PAIR OF MEISSEN STYLE LIDDED VASES. A pair of large lidded vases or jars, the lids with floral encrusted finials and painted with insects, the vases with applied cherub handles and encrusted flowers, and painted with various insects. With pseudo Meissen marks to the bases, 38cms high. (2).
First one, lid has been broken and repaired and chips to the flowers, vase - chips to the flowers in places, a little wear to the gilded rim, pedestal slightly loose.
Other vase, lid - small chips to the flowers, vase - a little wear to the rim, one cherub has had it's head broken and repaired and has a hand missing, small chips to the flowers in places.
