Obverse: type 12 left-facing laureate bust of Victoria with no curls to the nape of the neck, larger lettering around reads 'VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:'. Reverse type N thinner Britannia seated right with trident and shield, a lighthouse to left and ship to the right, 'ONE PENNY' around and date (1886) below. Edge: plain. Weight: 9.42g. Diameter: 30.9mm. Mintage: 6,088,000. Grade: GEF - Good Extremely Fine with some mint lustre remaining to the reverse.
