Inscriptions on top flap read "Johnstone & Hunter Edinr and London" at left, "DESIGNED & ENGRAVED BY J. VALENTINE DUNDEE/30 Sent free for 12, 50 for 16, 100 for 24 or 250 for 48 Pennypost Stamps/William Bremner 11 Market Street Manchester" at centre, and "William Tweedie 337 Strand London" at right. Inscription on front reads "ONWHYN DELT" at base left centre. One of three known recorded unused copies.
