Attributed to Reuben Sayers (1815-1888) after Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (1618-1682) The Flower Girl, c.1852, oil on canvas, 48 x 38 cm, frame 57 x 47 cm The painting has been relined and the attribution and title re-written on the new canvas lining The Flower Girl by Murillo was painted c.1665-1670 and currently hangs in the Dulwich Picture Gallery. The painting is widely believed to depict Murillo's daughter Francisca Maria (1655-1710) who was born deaf and became a nun in the Dominican order in 1671 Provenance: private South Staffordshire collection
