'CENTURION' CRASH COVER GROUP: Five covers ex India to UK carried on the Imperial Airways Short flying boat which crashed while landing on the Hoogly River near Calcutta. All with stamps washed off and all to UK addresses with three different variations of the unframed magenta cachet, "SALVAGED MAIL/EX . CENTURIA", "SALVAGED MAIL/EX CENTURION" (missing stop), or "SALV GED MAIL/EX . CENTURION" (missing "A"), plus cover with boxed "DAMAGED BY/SEA WATER/IN AIRPLANE/ACCIDENT".
