Turkish officer's sword, circa WW1, blade 40% ornately etched to both sides including trophy of arms and crescent and star, back of blade with maker's details Kirkoam.Narlian & Freres, Constantinople, 1cm chip to top of grip, enamel missing from star and crescent on langet, grip and knucklebow loose on tang, blade generally very fine. Sold with 2 30cm metal trays ornately engraved with portrait of Major General Sir Hector MacDonald K.C.B. D.S.O. these extremely fine. BUYER MUST COLLECT. (2B)
