Thomas Delasalle, London a Georgian mahogany bracket clock the eight-day duration, double-fusee movement having an anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell, the backplate fully engraved with foliate decoration, the eight-inch brass break-arch dial having a raised silvered chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals, the centre with date aperture, engraved decoration and signed with the makers name Thos. Delasalle, London, with cast-brass c-scroll spandrels, the arch with a dial for Strike/Silent, the mahogany case with inset brass fretwork and with the caddy top having four cast pineapple finials and surmounted by a brass handle, standing on brass bracket feet, height 55cms including handle. Notes: Thomas De la Salle is recorded as working at St. Catherine's Stairs, London from before 1799 until at least 1824.
