A French 6 shot 7mm Gonon double action pinfire revolver of Loron type, c 1862, octagonal barrel 85mm, St Etienne proved, a lever below the breech frees the barrel allowing it and the cylinder to slide forwards for loading, totally plain with folding trigger and plain dark rosewood grips.
