A HAND BEATEN SILVER BOTTLE COASTER, with a turned Elm base. Hallmarked: Birmingham, date letter of ‘D’ for 1978, maker’s mark of JL. Dimensions: 10cm diameter of silver ring, 12cm diameter of base, 4.5cm tall. Condition: Silver and wood both in excellent condition; there appears to have been baize at some stage in the interior of the ring but is now removed, some staining left from the glue that held that in place.
