1841-61 Entire letters and covers with 1d reds, also some 1d pink envelopes, with Maltese Cross cancels (27), numeral or duplex cancels (224), at least 85 with straight line or circular receiver handstamps, ten backstamped with codeless crown datestamps (used on mail from official sources), one cover backstamped with the rare and unusual double ring "General / Post Office / 24th / March / 1845" in red (two examples recorded, both on this same date) and the standard c.d.s.
