Of Medical interest, an 18th century token to allow entry to the Amsterdam Botanical Gardens, students studying medicine in Amsterdam were expected to intimately know botanical formulas for the treatment of various ailments and thus required frequent studies of plants. Students at the Medical School were thus issued an entrance token like this to the botanical gardens, approx 50mm in diameter, made of copper alloy approx 92% copper 7% zinc
