A good early Victorian mahogany pedestal games table stamped ‘Gillows’, the top with specimen marble chessboard inlay, having beaded edge decoration below, on a tapered octagonal column, the plinth base with curved sides, terminating on fluted bun feet with encased brass castors. C1850.
