Attributed 1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword
33 1/4 inch, dumb bell blade with central fuller. Etched foliage scrolls and Kings crown GRV cypher. Etched panel "Presented To Captain Goronwy Owen BY His Golfing Friends March 1st 1915". Nickel plated, foliage pierced guard with crowned GRV cypher. Nickel plated, plain pommel and checkered backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its leather covered field scabbard.
