Ann Collier: A unique handmade lace fan leaf created by Ann Collier, 20th century, the bobbin leaf worked in gold and brown threads in a sweeping design creating a central panel embroidered in gold beads, AC initials applied to the top left, the rather unusual shaped and pierced bone monture shaped to create tips to each stick which extend past the upper leaf, contained in a card fan box, the exterior covered in cream silk, guard approx. 24cm (2)
Leaf in good order, the fan lacks a lower guard and the lace has been applied accordingly, the box exterior silk is worn.
