CHRISTOPHER DRESSER FOR BENHAM & FROUD, A COPPER AND BRASS TEA KETTLE
the spherical copper body, collar rim and angular spout raised on three spike brass feet, with a brass and ebonised wood handle, the cover with ebonised wood finial, stamped Benham & Froud mark to the base, 24cm high; together with a Victorian copper ice cream bombe mould of wrythen form, by Jones Bros Down St. W, initialled W.S, 11.5cm high. Some minor dents to the body , small nibbles to the handle, the finial looks to have split and been repaired but overall in condition commesurate with age and use.
