1808 Valentine lettersheet depicting a cupid and lady holding the "Rights of Love", an arrow through crossed hearts, entitled "May our hearts be thus transfixed", handpainted with handwritten verses, posted within the London 2d Post to "Miss A. Hayes, No 10 Mays Buildings, Bedford Bury" with FE 15 datestamp and "Two Py-Post / Unpaid / Gerrard St". The side flap with a note written in 1933 by the Great Granddaughter of the recipient. An attractive early postally used valentine. Photo on Page 66.
