Chinese Imperial Post 1c Red p.stat card Shanghai to Swindon uprated with 10pf Carmine Reichpost optd "China" SG 24 with "B & S/S" (Butterfield & Swire, Shanghai) perfin. Message reads "Things are getting exciting out here with the war - very busy." with beautiful hand painted scene with two figures alongside message, 1910 PPC Shanghai to Germany franked with 1905 2c on 5pf Green with "L.S." (L. Soyka, Shanghai) perfin [scarce found used on cover/card], 1913 regd. env (opened out for display) Shanghai to Tsingtau franked on the reverse with 1c (6, pair SG 269 & two pairs x SG 219), 3c (3, pair and single SG 221) & 10c (SG 225) the 1c pair & 3c pair each with "B.A.T./Co.LD." (British-American Tobacco Co.
