Queen/Freddie Mercury:
A red and white striped polo shirt previously owned by Freddie Mercury. There is a ‘Canterbury Of New Zealand’ manufacturer’s label.
Provenance: the shirt was previously sold as part of lot 2175 from the Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own, Crazy Little Things 2 sale held at Sotheby’s, New Bond Street, London on 13th September 2023. This item comes with a certificate of authenticity on Tracks Ltd. letterhead stating this. It is also accompanied by the original auction tag.
The shirt is a small size and measures 68cm (32 inches) from collar to hem and 39cm (15.25 inches) from armpit to armpit. The condition is very good.
