A late 19th century Victorian Ariston portable polyphone complete with discs, a supplementary list of tunes and presented in its original box. The polyphon of ebonised wood with engraved detail and brass fixtures. Discs mostly comprising Christmas carols, including Hark the Herald Angels Sing, While Shepherds Watch Their Flocks, Whiter than Snow, Jolly Tars Polka, and a number by Ira D. Sankey. Box measures approx. 44 x 44 x 28cm.
