THOMAS & WILLIAM STRIPLING OF LICHFIELD, AN 18TH CENTURY OAK EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, the domed hood with floral fretwork design, flanked by a pair of finials, cylindrical pillars flanking a glazed door enclosing a brass and silvered 11 inch dial, bell striking movement, the plaque signed 'Stripling Lichfield' on a silvered plate, bordered by spandrels and mythical creatures, Roman and Arabic numerals, date and seconds dials, shaped trunk door on a square plain plinth, height 223cm, one pendulum, two weights (condition - no key or winding key, minor surface wear)
