Pair of Greatcoat Percussion Pistols With Spring Bayonets by Charles Osborne
3 inch, 18 bore, turn off, octagonal barrels with lead in muzzle rifling. Top mounted, triangular form blade sprung bayonets. Flat side body with foliage scroll engraving. The left side with maker "Chas Osborne London". Stylised dolphin head percussion hammers with matching engraving. Steel trigger guard and butt cap, again with matching engraving. Finely checkered, one piece grips with silvered, oval escutcheons. Both lower barrels with Indian export stamps. Good matched pair.
