A GEORGE III MAHOGANY TRIPOD TABLE
CIRCA 1790
with scalloped edge circular dished top, above a turned baluster pillar, raised on three downswept legs with elongated pad feet
62 cm high x 48 cm diam
Top has a horizontal crack running from one edge to another. There are a couple of other deep scratches. There are three glued repairs to the edge with associated hairline cracks. Chipped loss to the circular fixture on the underside and historic blacksmith's repair to the underside of the legs. No signs of worm historic or otherwise. Surface marks and scratches throughout.
