A FIRST WORLD WAR GROUP OF FOUR TO THE ROYAL NAVY. A Great War group of four comprising 1914-15 Star named to 347687 J.H Williams L. Ck. MTE R.N., War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named, and a George V Long Service and Good Conduct Medal named to 347687 J.H. Williams P.O. CK H.M.S. Vivid. Joseph Henry Williams was born on the 25th December 1888, from Roche in Cornwall. He enlisted for 12 years on the 6th May 1907, his job being a Miner prior to enlisting. His trio were awarded to him whilst serving aboard H.M.S Hood. His LSGC was awarded on the 9th June 1922. Mounted for display with copied research.
