Fine large Persian Kirman carpet with overall foliate decoration of palmettes and other motifs within a similar border, in various shades of blue, green and brown on a cream ground, old labels 'Made in Iran' and '3L//14 8 42525', approximately 550cm x 350cm.
Circa early part of 20th century. It has a wool and part silk pile. Fraying to edges. Minor losses to pile to edges also. The carpet has all over age stains to it, would need cleaned. Minor areas of wear to the carpet, no visible tears.
