With 4 copied pages of service record, Alexander Thomas Durrant was born in Devonport, enlisted 3/10/88 aged 15, appointed Drummer 27/2/90, served with North Eastern Column Burma 1891/2, imprisoned for breaking out of barracks 11/5/94, discharged 20/9/94 and all service forfeited "as being incorrigible and worthless".
