Set of six rare early mid 19th century Australian cedar dining chairs, comprising pair of arm chairs and four side chairs, each showing a Thomas Hope inspired double scroll back rail, well turned tapering legs with bun and double ring turnings, newly upholstered platted horse hair drop on seats, showing good original patination, circa 1840's (6)

All in estate condition. showing good crusty patination. all solid, back support of one chair appears to have been plug screwed and showing slight area of visible plugging to cover the screw. all have bruising and nocks, but solid and original untouched condition. The deceased owner only recently had the horse hair woven seats added.
