A 1930s burr walnut bureau with mechanical interior mechanism - the quarter veneered fall opening to reveal a well-fitted interior, the automatic sliding mechanism pulling a stationary rack forwards with a lidded compartment to each side and four fixed drawers above, over a base with three long graduated drawers, with brass drop handles and each with its own independent key, raised on gadrooned turned legs with scrolling ball-and-paw feet.
