John Joseph Cotman (1814-1878), 'Whitlingham Church', signed, titled and numbered 103, pencil sketch, an applied newspaper clipping and a pencil inscription verso, 22.5cm x 32.5cm The Cotman family collection. Unframed, but with glass, mount and backboard (plastic wrapping used to hold all in place). Loosely pasted to mount at the edges. Some mount-burn to the edges, foxing in places and some discolouration of the paper.
