1937 (November) series of ten ‘UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE (AGRICULTURE)’ revenue colour trials spread across two pieces of Stationery office headed card (240mm x 337mm) titled ‘Essays for Colour only’, each denominated 7d, the colours roughly matching Booth's 1936 2/8 set although these trials showing unrecorded values 2d, 4½d and 1d, the second page with explanatory notes and amendments e.g. ‘7d stamp to take this colour’. A superb archival record showing contemporary annotations demonstrating the development of the issue. Wonderful!
