A pair of 19th-century Chinese huanghuali wood open armchairs; the backs with shaped top rails and pierced central splats, decorated with foliage and fruit, with pierced arm supports and solid seats, on square legs, united by plain stretchers; 98cm high, 66cm wide.

Please note, the chairs are of a Chinese hardwood, but we cannot be certain that it is Huanghuali.
