RARE "8d/TO PAY" CANCELLED BY "B53" WITH "1/8d TO PAY" ALONGSIDE: 7 May 1867 EL (inside folds reinforced by thin archival tape) from Nantes to Port Louis (6 June backstamp) endorsed "Via Suez/Messagies 'imp'les" uniquely having a fine "8d/TO PAY" struck in error, obliterated by "B53" barred numeral & replaced by very fine "1/8d/TO PAY" on the front.
