The Renault Clio is a supermini class car launched in 1990. The Clio has had substantial critical and commercial success, being consistently one of Europe's top-selling cars since its launch, and it is largely credited with restoring Renault's reputation and stature after a difficult second half of the 1980s. The Clio is one of only two cars, the other being the Volkswagen Golf, to have been voted European Car of the Year twice, in 1991 and 2006.
The 1993 Renault Clio 1.1 RN offered here is warranted by the vendor to have only covered 17,000 miles from new and only 1,700 in the last twelve years. It is described as an exceptional car in remarkable original condition, and a pleasure to drive. The previous owner purchased the car at a year old, and it was in her possession until recently. The car has been re-commissioned including a new MoT, fluid changes, service and a new battery.
The Alpine solid white paintwork is straight and very clean with a deep shine, all the doors shut as they should, under the car is remarkable, in the boot is extremely clean, as is under the bonnet. This car has the optional glass sliding sunroof and radio stereo. The interior is original and very good indeed, with the carpets, seats and dash all very clean. This is 90's chic and a modern classic that is very nice indeed, one to put in the garage. Offered at No Reserve.
