A GROUP OF CHINESE QINGBAI WARE AND WHITE GLAZED PORCELAIN ITEMS, SONG TO MING DYNASTY. To include a Qingbai ware water dropper in the form of a duck; A cosmetic box of circular form; An ovoid form vase; Together with two hexagonal lobbed dishes each with Ex Collectis Erik Hancock labels. Approx. 8cm - 10cm. (5)
The hexagonal dish with small defect chip, glaze loss to one corner. All other items in good overall condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair. Provenance: Property of Dennis Young, son to Sir Mark Aitchison Young GCMG (1886-1974) who served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1947, thence by descent.
