Lehmann - Zig Zag - an early 20th Century c1910s tinplate clockwork ' Zig Zag ' / ' Zick Zack ' 640 toy. Featuring two characters who move backwards and forwards when the clockwork motor is operated, and the entire assembly travels along. Litho-printed tin construction. One character with arm detached and the other arm not present. Clockwork mechanism in working order, but temperamental. Scarce early Lehmann clockwork toy. Fixed key, patent dated 1903 and 1907. Maker's marks to underside. Measures approx; 14cm tall.
