CORRECTION - this jar is possibly a modern copy A Wanli period Chinese porcelain jar; the flower-head-shaped neck decorated with key fret above a stiff plantain border and underglaze blue decoration depicting the three friends of Winter (firing cracks) (14.5cm high x 15cm diameter)
The vase appears structurally sound with no chips, later caused cracks or restoration noted but as per the description there are prevalent firing cracks along the outside of the body . The firing cracks appear to be prevalent in more or less all outside areas of the body to a greater or lesser extent.
