A FIRST WORLD WAR GERMAN IRON CROSS AND MEMORIAL CUP.
An Iron Cross, 2nd Class dated 1914, and silver memorial cup with a central cross engraved with the recipients name and the date 26th October 1917, with a citation to Segeant Jungling Joseph Kraus, 3 Company 6th Bavarian Infantry Regiment. The cup and cross mounted on card beneath photograph and citation. Kraus was killed by gas poisoning when in action fighting in Flanders on the 26th October 1917.
