An Emerald and Diamond Brooch,
of ribbon form, claw-set with a row of rectangular step cut emeralds, surmounted by modern round brilliant cut diamonds and marquise cut emerald accents, the diamonds totalling approximately 2.50 carats, unmarked mount tests as 18ct yellow gold and platinum, 50.1mm, 9.4g
The emeralds are a very well-matched deep vivid green with typical internal inclusions only visible through a loupe, a few emeralds have tiny surface chips. The diamonds are very bright and lively with hardly any inclusions visible through a loupe. The mount has hardly any wear. Overall in very good condition.
