A WW2 Chevalier de la Legion D'Honneur Medal with certificate named to Robert Brun who was executed on 5th June 1944 (Eve of D-Day). Robert Jean Luis Brun, aka Bob, was born on 5th August 1925 and was just 18 years old when he was executed by the Germans for being a member of the French Resistance (the Francs-Tireurs et Partisans FTPF). The medal was awarded posthumously on 14th February 1948 and is mounted with his certificate in a period glazed frame. 65cms by 53cms.
