Cornhill Magazine - a set of the first 10 volumes of this highly important Victorian fictional magazine published by Smith, Elder & Co 1860-64. Leather backed boards in good condition throughout. This was one of the leading fiction journals of the Victorian era, founded by Thackeray, and throughout its life featuring the work of some of the greatest names in Victorian literature including Browning, Conan Doyle and Thackeray himself. It led to the popularisation of their work. A fine and rare set in this condition and Rudyard Kipling Books - carton containing five titles by Kipling-Limits and Renewals, Action and Reaction, The Five Nations and Stalky & Co, plus 7 other mixed books (2 Boxes)
