Candahar, Ghuznee and Cabul Medal 1841-42, with Cabul 1842 reverse, named to: Jn Jury 9th Regt (9th Regiment of Foot became the Norfolk Regiment, later The Royal Norfolk Regiment, after the 1881 Childers reforms). There are some file marks over the recipient’s name (an old attempt at erasure) but the name is still clearly legible; there are a couple of minor EKs but the medal is otherwise in Good very Fine (GVF) condition and is complete with its original steel clip and steel straight bar suspender and the 41mm ‘Military Ribbon of India’.
