1942 HEAVY AIRMAIL PIECE: 24 July 1942 large registered piece (123 x251 mm) bearing "BB" perfins of Barclays Bank comprising 3d, 1/- pair, 2/6d brown and a rare block of twenty three 10/- dark blue. All with boxed "PARCEL POST/WINCHESTER" ds's. The item was probably sent to South America at the 67 x 3/6d rate plus 3d registration.
