Rare 17th/early 18th century Continental white metal clock watch, the balance cock named to 'Michael Berau Fecit'. Engraved and pierced face with brass flowerheads, having Arabic numerals and two fingers, the single Verge escapement with five baluster pillars, engraved foliate balance cock and pierced engraved panels, with foliate engraved decorations throughout the movement. Lacks original outer case. 8cm diameter approx. (possibly Johann Michael Bergauer of Innsbruck and Vienna,18th century). (B.P. 21% + VAT)
