Closing and opening mechanism is a little stiff, and can make closing firmly difficult.
Marks to yellow metal base area are worn.
7th and 8th markers appear to be later additions, numbers do not match in style and are of different lengths.
Marker holders are worn and some can be fixed in position, and have to be manually moved.
Tarnishing, scuffs and general areas of loss are seen throughout, commensurate with being used.
