Charles II (1660-1685), Halfcrown, 1679 TRICESIMO PRIMO, fourth laureate bust right, reverse no stop after FRA or HIB, crowned cruciform shields, interlinked Cs in angles, six strings to harp, lett ered edge upwards, (ESC 481; Bull 480; Spink 3367). Overall extremely fi ne but probably about as struck for issue. A weak strike on obverse perhaps the result of a rusty die, the reverse much bolder and well struck.
