(v.I) - some title soiling, other marks and browning, ink marginal notes, reasonably good; (v.2) - as above, save approx. 90pp. with overall browning (rather disfiguring, though readable); (24), 355, (16) and (8), 523, (28) pp.; second vol. (v.3) - upper board present but detached; some title soiling and other marks, but generally good; both vols d-col. printing; (v.4) - as previous. (12), 9-558 (76) and (16), 484, (39) pp. Cannot see what (if any) is missing beginning v.3 (p.9 commences main text); this edition apparently not listed on Worldcat (?)
