A VICTORIAN QUARTER REPEATER POCKET WATCH, Swiss keyless jewelled lever movement, white enamel dial with blued steel spade hands, in possibly later silver open faced case , Birmingham 1892 for Rotherham & Sons, monogramed CJ to the reverse, approximate diameter 55mm
Movement is marked Brevet 34984, appears complete but in need of a clean, repeat function missing 2nd strike on 3rd quarter. The dial possibly adapted to suit movement, certainly adapted to suit case, some very slight cracks to the very edge. Minute hands replaced and/or repainted. Glass bevelled, good condition. Case patinated, not original to the movement, overall good condition. Hinges good, fit for purpose. Crown in good condition, fit for purpose, winds and set hands functioning. The bow appears original to case.
