A MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH 18CT YELLOW GOLD SEED PEARL LONGUARD CHAIN, designed as a fine double link chain with fourteen seed pearl accents, to the lobster swivel clasp, French bigorne marks to the jump rings, makers mark 'ET' to both the jump ring and clasp, approximate length 1780mm, approximate gross weight 15.5grams (Condition report: overall condition good, chain in good condition apart from one link which is stretched slightly, Seed pearls fairly well matched, the surface nacre to two of the seed pearls has worn away, three replacement base metal seed pearl links (these are tarnished), two replacement yellow metal seed pearl links)
