1514-1526 scarce Henry VIII silver York mint Halfgroat voided cross mintmark and TW to reverse (S 2327). Obverse: right facing crowned bust of King Henry VII within beaded circle, voided cross mintmark and 'hЄnRIC ’x VIII xx DI x GRΛ ’x REX x' ΛG' around. Reverse: shield of royal arms quartered by a long cross with twin keys and cardinal's hat below, 'TW' either side for Archbishop Thomas Wolsey, voided cross mintmark and 'CIVITAS xx EBORACI x' around. Weight: 1.37g. Diameter: 20.4mm. Grade: VF - obverse scrape, lots of Very Fine detail.
